CLSGAs of 2007-2008, Abi is a first year PhD student in the School Psychology program. She came to the program with extensive experience working with children with autism and other special needs populations. Her previous research has focused on resilience among at-risk students. This is her first foray into research in science education, and she is excited to be working on SRRI’s Visual Modeling Strategies in Science Teaching project exploring the use of simulations in the science curriculum.
